Die Manzanilla (Helenium aromaticum (Hook.) Bailey) ist eine Sonnenbraut-Art und gehört zur Familie der Korbblütengewächse (Asteraceae).

Allgemeines
Namen
Die Pflanze wird auch als Gummibärchenpflanze bezeichnet. Manzanilla ist die spanische Bezeichnung der Kamille.
Die Pflanze
Die Manzanilla ist ein bis zu 50 cm hohes, einjähriges Kraut. Die Pflanze ist in Chile beheimatet. Die Blätter sind lanzettlich und gegenständig angeordnet. Die Blüten erscheinen endständig am sich verzweigenden Stängel und sind kugelförmig, gelb und 7-8 mm im Durchmesser. Sie blühen zwischen Oktober und Dezember.
Das Kraut findet Anwendung als Tee.
